NBA reports three new COVID-19 cases

The NBA, in its latest coronavirus update, confirmed three new COVID-19 cases since March 10.

Per the press release: “Of the 490 players tested for COVID-19 since March 10, three new players have returned confirmed positive tests.

Anyone who has returned a confirmed positive test, or has been identified as having been in close contact to an infected person, is isolated or quarantined until they are cleared under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association in accordance with CDC guidance.”

Players found positive since initial return-to-market tests:

November 24 – December 1: 48
December 2 – 9: 8
December 10 – 16: 1
December 17 – 23: 2
December 24 – 29: 0
December 30 – January 5: 4
January 6 – 12: 16
January 13 – 19: 11
January 20 – 26: 1
January 27 – February 2: 0
February 3 – 9: 1
February 10 – 16: 5
February 17 – 23: 2
February 24 – March 2: 7
March 3 –  9: 2
March 10 – 16: 3
