Gregg Popovich left everyone guessing about his future on the San Antonio Spurs’ bench after his team was eliminated from the playoffs by the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

“Not gonna go there. The season just ended. We’ve got a lot of time for that”, stated Popovich briefly to San Antonio Express’ Tom Orsborn (as adapted by Mike Finger), when asked about his future with the team.

“No matter what the mistakes, no matter what the circumstances are, they really fight,” Popovich said. “That’s a good base. So, I’m really proud of the way they conducted themselves and played to win.”

Now, it remains to be seen whether that Wednesday game was the last for Popovich, or he will return for another campaign with the team.
