Clippers react with rout over Jazz

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George combined for nearly half of their team’s points as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Utah Jazz 132 – 106 in Game 2 to to react after a 0 – 2 deficit Western Conference semifinals series in a strong fashion.

Leonard scored 34 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out five assists while George finished with 31 points and five dimes of his own.  Their team led for the entire game following a 2-10 start by the Jazz and dominated 38 – 23 in the last period to close the match

“I think I just shot my shots, got the shots I’m most comfortable with and stuck with it,” George, who made 6-10 3-pointers after struggling with his shooting in most of these playoffs, said.

Donovan Mitchell delivered 32 points for his third straight 30+ performance in the series. Joe Ingles had 19 points and Rudy Gobert posted 12 points plus 12 rebounds for the Jazz that couldn’t match their opponents’ efficiency.

Bojan Bogdanovic dropped nine points on 2-10 shots.
