Bradley Beal has already been linked with several NBA teams looking to land an offensive powerhouse for the 2021-22 season. He is considering requesting a trade from the Washington Wizards prior to Thursday’s draft, according to Bleacher Report.

Beal, 28, is on contract for the next season and holds a player option for the 2022-23 season. He has been expected to make a decision regarding his offseason intentions and seems to have gone back and forth between remaining or departing. It seems the situation will become clear within the next week.

Beal, recently ruled out of the Olympic Games by Team USA, finished his ninth season with the Wizards at a career-high 31.3 points per appearance.

The Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers are likely to bid if he decides to pull the trigger on the trade request, per multiple reports.

Also, a possible departure of the former Florida standout can turn up a friendly approach from the Wizards to potential incoming trade offers for Russell Westbrook.
