German big man Daniel Theis has agreed to a four-year, $36 million deal to join the Houston Rockets, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

The undrafted free agent who made his name with Boston, has moved to the NBA since 2017. The 29 years old player was traded to the Bulls on March, where in 23 games he averaged for the first time in his NBA career 10 ppg.

Houston still has a $8.28 million trade exception from the Victor Oladipo and that’s why Theis is expected to move to the Rockets via a sign-and-trade deal which will also give to Chicago a big trade exception.
