Washington Wizards newcomer forward Kristaps Porzingis should be making his debut with the team Sunday (6/3) against the Indiana Pacers, per Chase Hughes of NBCS.

Porzingis was listed as “probable” by the Wizards in the latest injury report but had his first full practice with the team Saturday. and his participation will be determined shortly before the match. The Latvian former All-Star has been dealing with a bone bruise in his right knee since a Dallas Mavericks’ 132 – 105 win over the Pacers (ironically) in late January.

The Wizards acquired Porzingis from the Mavericks on February 10 in an exchange that also involved the big man’s fellow Latvian forward Davis Bertans. Washington is currently 11th in the Eastern Conference and the team’s effort to make the Play-In tournament will gain a significant boost with Porzingis in action.

Before his injury, Porzingis was averaging 19.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.5 minutes over 34 games with the Mavericks.
