The Golden State Warriors outlasted the Denver Nuggets 118-113 in Game 3 and are one victory away from clinching their second-round spot, yet reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic says the Nuggets are not done yet.

It’s not over,” Jokic told reporters after the game. “As long as we put the effort like we did today, we are going to be fine. They are a great team, but we showed ourselves that we can play with them and it can be a really interesting game.”

Jokic posted an MVP-like performance with a double-double of 37 points and 18 rebounds in the Nuggets’ best display of the series so far.

“Are we going to roll over? Or are we going to fight like hell and send this back to Golden State?”, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone commented about the upcoming Game 4 in Denver Sunday. “Knowing our group, we are going to be here for the fight. I know I will be.”

The Nuggets will have to fight back their frustration against the red-hot Warriors, which got 80 points from the scoring trio of Jordan Poole, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson in Game 3.

“Obviously the frustration level is high,” said forward Aaron Gordon (18 points, 12 rebounds in Game 3). “We felt like we should have won that game. 2-1 is a whole different series. But we are not done yet. All year long we have been a resilient group, and I expect us to bounce back.”
