Giannis and the Bucks fall short in Boston with Tatum scoring 41

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks stayed close the Celtics for the first half, but ultimately Boston got an easy 139-118 win keeping the best record in the NBA with 24 wins and 10 defeats.

Jason Tatum with 41 points and a thunderous poster dunk against Giannis, plus Jalen Brown with 29 points set the tone for the winning side.

Despite Boston playing better in the first half, the Bucks stayed close, trailing only by one at halftime (62-61). However, the second half belonged to last season’s NBA finalists.

The Greek Freak had 27 points and nine rebounds, the Bucks once more missed Khris Middleton and like it happened in last season’s playoffs, they didn’t have enough firepower against Boston.

The Bucks are still second in the East with a 23-11 record, despite their defeat.

It was a tense game with Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Marcus Smart exchange words during the game but nothing happening after the final buzzer.
