Svi Mykhailiuk was initially part of a trade between the New York Knicks and Portland Trailblazers, in which Josh Hart switched to the Knicks.

Still, the Ukrainian player won’t be staying long in Oregon since he’s being moved to Charlotte Hornets, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Ukrainian swingman is part of a three-team trade in which Portland is acquiring the Philadelphia 76ers forward Matisse Thybulle.

The Sixers are getting Jalen McDaniels in the deal, while the Hornets will get multiple second-round picks with Mykhailiuk.

The 25-year-old graduate from Kansas started his NBA career with Los Angeles Lakers, who chose him with the 47th pick in the 2018 draft.

He stayed for a short time in LA and played for Detroit Pistons, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Toronto Raptors before joining the Knicks last September.

Svi played only 13 games for Tom Thibodeau’s team this season, averaging just 3,1 minutes on the court and scoring 1,6 points per game.
