Lakers get the comeback win over Doncic and Dallas

Despite an electric start for Dallas and a 27-point lead, the LA Lakers got the 111-108 road win with Antony Davis scoring 30 points, LeBron James adding 26 points and Jarred Vanderbilt having 15 points, 17 rebounds and a great defensive effort which included four steals and an impressive presence against Luka Doncic.

The Slovenian superstar finished the night with 26 points and 9 rebounds and 5 assists, but in the closing seconds with Kyrie Irving inbounding the ball, Vanderbilt stole it in front of Doncic and practically decided the game with 15 seconds left and the score being 108-105 in favor of the Lakers.

Irving finished the night with 21 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

German guard Dennis Schroder with 16 points and eight assists, plus some key plays down the stretch was a factor in LA’s win, while French guard Frank Ntilikina had one rebounds, one assist and one steal for Dallas.

The Mavs were also missing due to injuries German forward Maxi Kleber and Latvian sharpshooter Davis Bertans. The bottom line is that thanks to this win the Lakers are now 11th in the West with a 29-32 record, while Dallas remains sixth with 32-30.
