With only four NBA games last night, the Lituanun Jonas Valanciunas stud out big time. The big man led the New Orleans Pelicans to a 115-96 win over the Charlotte Hornets with a monster double-double. He scored 20 points and grabbed 19 rebounds.

The Ukrainian Svi Mykhailiuk had a good game on the other side with 15 points.

In Orlando, there was a distinctly German flavor to the game between the Magic and the Knicks. As Paolo Banchero continues to make his case for rookie of the year by scoring 21 points, big-time help arrived with Franz Wagner’s 16 points, and Moritz Wagner’s 11 points and seven rebounds. For the Knicks, Isaiah Hartenstein scored six points.

Nicolas Batum helped out the Los Angeles Clippers with 12 points. The Clippers won against OKC 127-105.
