The Milwaukee Buck point guard Goran Dragic decided to visit Belgrade where he watched his brother and Cedevita play against Partizan in the ABA League semifinals. But the NBA finals between Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat was what he talked about in a short interview with MozzartSport.

I arrived from Miami on Tuesday, I’m here in Belgrade for the game because my brother is playing. I will stay for a few days, then go home and around,” says Dragic.

The most discussed topic currently is the NBA finals in which Nikola Jokic’s Denver plays against Miami, whose jersey Goran wore for six full seasons…

As he said: “It will be interesting. I’m a little surprised that Miami won the second game in Denver, but the Nuggets still have a better team, a longer bench… You never know. Now two games are being played in Miami, the next one will be very important“.

The Slovenian legend has only words of praise for Nikola Jokic… “MVP. There is no other way to put it, he had to be the MVP this year as well, and if he wins the title, he will be 100 percent MVP of the final.”

And, will Denver take the ring or does he believe more in Miami where he would like to finish his professional career?

I don’t know, honestly… I said Miami wouldn’t go far, and then they kicked us out (Milwaukee Bucks), then New York and Boston. So What do I know? We’ll see.”

Dragic also revealed he has no plans to play for the national team of Slovenia this summer.

I’ll be at home (laughs). I’m not going to play, it was enough, 16 years, plus the NBA and everything else. Maybe I will go to Japan to support the national team, but I will hardly play“.
