Adjusting to the NBA after dominating the scene in Europe with Olympiacos, the path to more regular playing time in Sacramento’s rotations has to be partially interrupted for Sasha Vezenkov.

According to the fantasy news provider Underdog NBA, in fact, the Bulgarian forward may be forced to skip four to six weeks of action due to an ankle injury, forcing Mike Brown’s team to stay without a consistent piece off the bench.

The Sacramento Kings officially announced his injury with a press release, saying he “suffered a grade 3 right ankle sprain” and confirming the duration of his recovery from injury.

Moving to the NBA in the summer of 2023 after being constantly watched by the purple franchise, Sasha Vezenkov has been growing as time passed by, averaging 5.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game this season. In the past, he represented Aris, Barcelona, and Olympiacos, winning multiple MVPs.
