Without Jimmy Butler and after a tough loss at the opening of the NBA Playoff series, the Miami Heat secured a road win over the Boston Celtics.

Erik Spoelstra’s side leveled the first-round series to 1-1 after defeating the Boston Celtics 101-111 at TD Garden.

Serbian forward Nikola Jovic had a great game, flirting with a triple-double with 11 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.

Tyler Herro led the way with a strong double-double of 24 points and 14 assists, while Bam Adebayo added 21 points with 10 rebounds. Caleb Martin also contributed 21 points as the Heat broke a franchise record with 23 three-pointers.

On the other side, Jaylen Brown scored 33 points and Jayson Tatum 28, but only Derrick White followed them with 13 points. Kristaps Porzingis scored only six points, with eight rebounds in around 30 minutes.

While Boston was stunned, the Oklahoma City Thunder didn’t allow something like that, crushing the New Orleans Pelicans 124-92 to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points and five assists, while Chet Holmgren added 26 points with seven rebounds. Jalen Williams followed them with 21 points.

Jonas Valanciunas stood out for the Pelicans with 19 points and seven rebounds on 8/14 shooting. Brandon Ingram and Herb Jones followed him with 18 points each.
