The Boston Celtics are through to the Eastern Conference semifinals, where they’ll meet the Cleveland Cavaliers or Orlando Magic, but according to Chris Haynes, without Kristaps Porzingis.

The NBA Insider for TNT & Bleacher Report said that Porzingis will likely miss the NBA Playoffs second-round series but could return to the court if the Celtics make it to the Eastern finals.

The Latvian played four games in the first-round series against the Miami Heat, averaging 12.3 points and five rebounds before suffering a right calf injury.

With him this season, the Celtics achieved a record of 43-14, and without Porzingis, they suffered just four defeats in 25 matches.

The 28-year-old center joined Boston last summer, and in the regular season, he averaged 20.1 points and 7.2 rebounds for the team that achieved the best record in the NBA.
