Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs hosted Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves last night, and the game fully lived up to expectations.

After a thrilling 48 minutes of basketball, the Spurs emerged victorious, 126–123, with Wembanyama putting on a sensational display.

The French superstar led his team with 39 points and nine rebounds, scoring a crucial 10 points in the final three minutes. He also grabbed a decisive offensive rebound in the closing seconds, once again proving his clutch gene.

On the other side, Edwards delivered an even more spectacular individual performance. He poured in 26 points in the fourth quarter alone and finished the night with 55 points, shooting 9-of-16 from beyond the arc. With that effort, he tied Karl-Anthony Towns for the most 50-point games in Timberwolves franchise history.

Elsewhere, the Boston Celtics cruised past the Atlanta Hawks on the road, recording a dominant 132–106 victory. Portuguese center Neemias Queta contributed 14 points and seven rebounds, while talented Spaniard Hugo González added seven points and nine rebounds in a solid all-around outing.

The Miami Heat became only the second Eastern Conference team this season to defeat the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, edging them 122–120 at home. Pelle Larsson turned in a strong performance with 16 points, while Simone Fontecchio followed with 13 points and five rebounds. Kasparas Jakucionis orchestrated the offense with seven assists. On the other side, Ajay Mitchell led the Thunder with 15 points and four rebounds.

With Nikola Jokić still sidelined, the Denver Nuggets continued their winning run, defeating the Washington Wizards 121–115 behind a monster performance from Jamal Murray, who poured in 42 points. Aaron Gordon flirted with a triple-double, finishing with eight points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, while Alex Sarr led the Wizards with 16 points and eight rebounds.

Last but not least, the Portland Trail Blazers routed the Los Angeles Lakers 132–116, despite both Deni Avdija and Luka Dončić being sidelined. Sidy Cissoko contributed 14 points and five rebounds for the winning side, while Toumani Camara added nine points. For the Lakers, Maxi Kleber scored 11 points in a depleted lineup that was also without Austin Reaves, while LeBron James finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.
