As reported by Shams Charania, the Minnesota Timberwolves – Golden State Warriors game scheduled for Saturday, January 24th, has been postponed by the NBA due to a shooting.

A man was shot and killed after a confrontation with federal agents in the city, as Charania himself explains. This is the third shooting involving a federal agent in Minnesota in the past month, the second in the same week.

The NBA released a statement confirming that the game is postponed:

The decision was made to prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community. The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Jan. 25) at 5:30 pm ET at Target Center.
