Jaylen Brown is reportedly ready to leave the Boston Celtics

Jaylen Brown is ready to leave the Boston Celtics, and according to some sources, things could become much clearer in the next 48 hours.

Brown, who was selected third overall in the 2016 draft by Boston and has since grown into a Celtics legend, winning a title and the 2024 Finals MVP award with them, is prepared to leave Massachusetts, and the Celtics are ready to let him go as well.

Jaylen was also offered to the Milwaukee Bucks, with Boston willing to send Brown and two first-round picks in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, the Bucks also wanted Hugo Gonzalez and Baylor Scheierman included, which Boston refused to do.

After all that, Giannis ended up being traded to the Miami Heat, together with Bobby Portis.

Where Jaylen Brown will go now is the real question. Previously, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Houston Rockets were mentioned as potential options, and we will see whether anyone can send the right offer to Boston while also providing Jaylen with a respectable team.

After all the trade talk and the fact that Boston was willing to move a player who was part of the MVP conversation for a part of the season, it seems things will not really work out between the Celtics and Brown.

Last season, Brown averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
