The Memphis Grizzlies have reportedly traded two-time NBA All-Star Ja Morant to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Jerami Grant and Kris Murray, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The move marks the end of an era in Memphis, with Morant becoming the final member of the Grizzlies’ former core to depart following the earlier exits of Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr.

Morant, 26, heads to a Portland team that returned to the playoffs last season. He has two years remaining on his current contract after appearing in just 79 games over the past three seasons due to injuries and suspensions.

In return, Memphis acquires veteran forward Jerami Grant and Kris Murray as the franchise continues its transition into a new era centered around 2026 No. 3 overall pick Cameron Boozer.
