The 25th pick of the latest NBA draft is moving to the US.
Spanish guard Sergio De Larrea has signed with the Dallas Mavericks, leaving Valencia, which will get a buyout from this deal.
Per the press release: “The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have signed first-round pick Sergio De Larrea. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
De Larrea (6-7, 202) averaged 9.4 points (.452 FG%, .429 3FG%, .818 FT%), 2.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 17.6 minutes in 23 games for Spain’s Valencia Basket last season en route to a Liga ACB Championship campaign and Liga ACB Best Young Player award. De Larrea garnered 2025 Spanish Super Cup MVP honors after averaging 18.0 points in the tournament to lead Valencia to their second Spanish Super Cup trophy in team history.
The Valladolid, Spain, native will play for the Mavericks’ 2026 NBA Summer League team.
