James Harden has returned to the picturesque Greek island of Mykonos for his offseason training, seamlessly blending conditioning for the upcoming 2026–27 NBA campaign with a Mediterranean vacation.
The veteran playmaker is well-known for his affinity for the Aegean paradise, famously establishing a precedent in 2021 when he and Kevin Durant went to great lengths to arrange private training facilities during their holiday. Over the years, his trips have routinely captured public attention.
Currently an unrestricted free agent expected to finalize a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was back at the facilities of Mykonos Betsson, a resident in Greece’s top-tier Stoiximan GBL. Harden was joined by Minnesota Timberwolves guard Bones Hyland to sharpen their skills through individual gym sessions.
Beyond their athletic endeavors, the trip highlighted a deep commitment to the local community. In a heartwarming surprise, the two NBA stars opened the doors of their private drills to the organization’s youth academy. The young prospects were granted a rare opportunity to witness the tail end of the professional routines firsthand. Following the practice, both players spent time interacting with the starstruck children, participating in photo opportunities, and hosting autograph sessions.
In gratitude for inspiring the next generation, the club released an official snapshot across social media to publicly thank Harden and Hyland for their impactful visit.

While Harden prepares to formalize his continuation with the Cavs following a midseason trade in February, Hyland is set to head back to a competitive Wolves backcourt.
