Rudy Gobert has been joined by several Minnesota Timberwolves teammates during his offseason stay in France.
Anthony Edwards and new arrival LaMelo Ball were among the players who traveled to Paris to meet the French center, giving the reshaped Timberwolves an early opportunity to build chemistry.
Ball arrived in Minnesota through a blockbuster trade with the Charlotte Hornets and is expected to form one of the NBA’s most exciting backcourt partnerships with Edwards.
Gobert, meanwhile, remains a central part of Minnesota’s plans. The four-time Defensive Player of the Year is expected to anchor a team that will enter the new season among the leading contenders in the Western Conference.
