Another NBA trade has made headlines, with Buddy Hield being the most prominent name, as he will continue his career with the Charlotte Hornets.
According to Shams Charania, Ryan Nembhard and cash will accompany him, while Dorian Finney-Smith will become the new player for the Atlanta Hawks.
This will be Hield’s seventh NBA team, and he joined the Hawks at the beginning of 2026, playing only seven games with an average of just five points. Throughout his career, he has averaged 14.5 points per game across 765 games played.
Now, he will become part of the Hornets, who lost their star player LaMelo Ball over the summer. Hield will join Kon Knueppel at the shooting guard position, who is planned to be the face of the franchise.
