Giannis’ 40 not enough as Cavs beat Bucks

In the second matchup of the year between these two teams, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s heroic efforts fell short as the Cavs beat the Bucks 124-119 in Cleveland.

The game was hard fought from start to finish and early foul trouble for Milwaukee’s bigs were crucial. Kevin Love “feasted” on a thin Milwaukee front-court and finished with 32 points, 16 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block.

For the losing side, Giannis was a force, as usual. He had 40 points on 16-of-21 shooting to go along with 9 boards, 3 assists and 4 blocks.

Mirza Teletovic added 16 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists in a loss.

Milwaukee has now dropped four straight and will look to get things going as Bledsoe is inserted into the rotation.
