Polish center Marcin Gortat had 18 and the Wizards beat the Pacers 109-102 in a possible postseason preview. Gortat was 6 for 8 from the field and 6 for 6 from the line after scoring a total of 17 points in his previous four games. He also grabbed eight rebounds.
“We were a little bit quicker than they were,” Gortat said. “We came out ready to play, focused.” Lithuanian reserve forward of Indiana Domantas Sabonis was sidelined by sprained left ankle.
