Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounpo is featured at the 30th spot in Forbes‘ list of the highest-paid athletes in the world for 2018.

Giannis’ position sets him as the highest-paid European basketball player and eighth highest-paid NBAer overall. Only Lebron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving are above him.

At 23 years of age, the Greek forward is also the youngest player on the list.

Antetokounmpo is earning $35.5 million overall. 22.5 of this sum derives from his contract with the Bucks while 13 million come from endorsements with various sports companies. Not bad for the “Greek Freak” who also made a comment on Twitter regarding the list, with a reference on his humble beginnings in the Sepolia area of Athens, Greece.
