Bojan Bogdanovic joined Croatia for the September World Cup Qualifiers and went down ugly on the floor in the game against Poland. Though the injury was not that serious, the Pacers decided to let him rest and skip a few practices.

“I’m a little bit fatigued but I’m ready to do whatever they ask me to do. I’m ready for practice. I’m not tired,” Bogdanovic said, per IndyStar. “Every summer is always the same for me. I spend almost the whole summer with my national team in training camp. That’s what I love. That’s what I’m proud of.”

Pacers President Kevin Pritchard is well aware of Bogdanovic’s dedication to the game, hence the decision to hold him out for a bit.

“He could have a broken leg and he’ll say he’s fine,” Pritchard mentioned. “What we have to be careful of is he’s played so much this summer. He does that every single summer. He has a lot of pressure to play well. We’ll have to manage him a little bit.”
