Rudy Gobert: I’m tired of the same thing every night

The Miami Heat beat the Utah Jazz on Sunday in a game with many lead changes up to the final minutes. The referees made some questionable decisions down the stretch, at least in Rudy Gobert’s mind.

The 26-year-old French center strongly disagreed with a foul called on him when Dwyane Wade drove to the basket attempting to win the game for his team. The Flash indeed poured the two following free throws that were enough for the Heat’s “W”.

After the NBA game, according to Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune Gobert said: “I just want it to be consistent, at one point. Every night is the same s…t. If you call something one way, you have to call it on the other end. I’m just tired of it”.

He added: “They can’t be deciding the issue of a game just like that. If you call a foul on the play on Dwyane Wade, Donovan got pushed harder right before. And he’s not Dwyane Wade, its fine. Just respect us, as competitors, as players”.
