A total of 22 European players were in action during NBA’s six-game Sunday night.

Luka Doncic (right hip) and Maxi Kleber (right knee) didn’t play, Dirk Nowitzki (left ankle) remained on the injury list, but the Dallas Mavericks got a 114-110 home victory against the Los Angeles Clippers. Danilo Gallinari’s 21 points weren’t enough for the visitors at the American Airlines Center.

At the Spectrum Center, Nikola Mirotic poured 16 points and helped the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Charlotte Hornets 119-102. Willy Hernangomez started for the first time in the 2018-19 season and notched 11 points, Tony Parker had 10 points and Nicolas Batum two in a season-low 14 minutes of action.

Goran Dragic (right knee) remained on the sidelines, but the Miami Heat scored a 102-100 win over the Utah Jazz. Ricky Rubio poured 23 points, Rudy Gobert added 12 points and 18 rebounds, Thabo Sefolosha also played, but their team didn’t hold on to their early 19-point advantage in the American Airlines Arena.

Marco Belinelli (neck) was added to the San Antonio Spurs’ injury list, Pau Gasol (left foot) remained out, but the Texans overcame the Portland Trail Blazers with a 131-118 win. Davis Bertans and Jakob Poeltl helped totaling 16 points. Jusuf Nurkic sank 16 points for the losing side.

Marc Gasol played with right knee soreness and scored 12 points in Memphis Grizzlies’ 103-95 away defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers. Omri Casspi grabbed eight rebounds but didn’t sink any points. Furkan Kormaz aided the Sixers scoring six points.

Moritz Wagner poured his first ten NBA points during the fourth quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ easy 120-96 win against the Phoenix Suns. Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk and Ivica Zubac also got some action at the Staples Center on Sunday. Dragan Bender and Elie Okobo had a total of eight points for the Suns.
