Mavericks reportedly keeping Kostas Antetokounmpo for 2019-20

Following his recent call-up from the Dallas Mavericks, Kostas Antetokounmpo had his two-way contract extended for the 2019-20 NBA season, according to Keith Smith.

Per the report, a total of 13 players with two-way contracts, among them Giannis Antetokounmpo’s little brother, are also signed for the next season. Teams had a deadline until the 15th of January to use their extension option for next season.

Kostas, 21, was picked 60th in NBA’s 2018 Draft. He hasn’t debuted yet for the Mavericks, but played heavily in the G League with the Texas Legends since the beginning of the 2018-19 campaign averaging 9.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
