Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway and Trey Burke were introduced to the public as the new Dallas Mavericks players at the press conference. One of the first questions to Porzingis was on his relationship with Luka Doncic and Porzingis is looking forward to it:
“Yeah, we have a great relationship. I think we met for the first time when we were both playing still in Spain. I remember he was a few years younger than me and we just know each other from playing against each other for a long time. Now that I have the opportunity to play with him, I’m really excited about it.”
Porzingis is four years older the Doncic and has played in Spain with Sevilla (2011-2015) while the latter was a part of Real Madrid since 2012. Here’s the full press conference of Porzingis’ introduction by the Mavericks.
