Giannis Antetokounmpo the highest-paid European NBAer according to Forbes

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is the highest-paid European player in the NBA for the 2018-2019 season, according to a list published by Forbes. No other European player makes the Top 10.

Giannis, that is ranked seventh in the list overall, will earn a total number of 43.2 million this season. From this sum, 24.2 million derive from the contract he has with the Bucks while 19 million are from endorsements.

Per Forbes:

The Greek Freak’s rise to dominant NBA star took another leap this season as he won the Eastern Conference’s Player of the Month Awards for both November and December. For the second straight year, he was second among all players in fan voting for the NBA All-Star Game. Nike is releasing Antetokounmpo’s first signature shoe in June. It won’t be his last.

Antetokounmpo signed a new mega-deal with Nike on November 2017 despite a lucrative offer by Adidas.

Lebron James is at the top of the list with total earnings of 88.7 million.
