Hamidou Diallo crowned slam dunk king

Hamidou Diallo became the first player of the Oklahoma City Thunder to win the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. He showed off his imagination dominating the field on Saturday, at the Spectrum Center. The 20-year-old rookie, former Kentucky guard, beat Dennis Smith Jr. in the final round, while Miles Bridges finished third and John Collins fourth.

The new slam dunk king scored 95 out of a possible 100 in the final stage. In the first round, he partnered with Russell Westbrook and Shaquille O’Neal for impressive jams. He later capped his effort and secured first place honors by jumping over rap artist Quavo for a two-handed windmill.
