Alex Abrines has been a free agent since he parted ways with the Oklahoma City Thunder due to personal reasons. And it seems that he will remain without a team for the remainder of the season.

During a Fortnite session and after being asked about the possibility of joining another team or even another league, Abrines hinted that he will consider his basketball options no earlier than offseason. “On Summer, depending on what there is, I’ll decide,” Abrines said per Planetacb.

Abrines also said that he will soon talk about the reasons he’s no longer a Thunder. “I guess I’ll make a statement soon and you will know,” the Spanish wing mentioned.

“I feel good,” Abrines added regarding his current state.

The Thunder released Abrines on February 8. In three seasons and 174 games with Oklahoma, the 25-year-old player averaged 5.3 points and 1.4 rebounds over 16.0 minutes per game.
