Nikola Jokic finished the 2018-19 NBA Regular Season with a 29-point, 14-rebound double-double, also had three steals and two assists on Wednesday. The Denver Nuggets ultimately defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves by ending the home game with a 15-0 run. The Joker was instrumental in crunch time.

“We didn’t give up. We did our best in the last three minutes” the Serbian big told the crowd after the contest and added: “We have the best home record in the NBA. Thank you guys. You helped us a lot. Please come to every game. We need you and hopefully we’re going to put on a show.”

Averaging 19.9 points, 10.8 boards and 7.3 steals, Jokic led his team to the playoffs for the first time in six years. Wednesday’s win clinched second place in the Western Conference and set up a first round series versus the San Antonio Spurs. The 34-7 W-L record at the Pepsi Center demonstrates the importance of the home-court advantage.
