Quinn Ellis is reportedly leaving the EuroLeague for the NCAA.
The Olimpia Milan point guard has reportedly committed to St. John’s, choosing to play under Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino, according to the New York Post.
The 23-year-old English playmaker was a high-priority target for several top American programs. Despite having a professional contract with a EuroLeague powerhouse, Ellis opted for the NCAA route.
As a EuroLeague debutant, he performed impressively for Milan. He averaged 8.4 points and 4.4 assists per game, establishing himself as the most reliable option in Peppe Poeta’s rotation when it came to organizing the floor.
However, he is now set to continue his career in the Big East under the guidance of the legendary Pitino.
