On Thursday, Nikola Kusturica left Barcelona, and it is now confirmed that he will continue his career at UCLA.

The speculation that had been circulating for some time has been confirmed, with the information coming from Jeff Borzello of ESPN.

“Serbian forward Nikola Kusturica has reached a multi-year agreement to play for UCLA, sources told ESPN, giving the Bruins arguably the best European prospect in his age group and an early contender for the No. 1 pick in the 2028 NBA draft. Just turned 17 in April.”

Kusturica captivated Europe at last year’s European Championship, where he led Serbia to gold at the U16 championship, and recently won silver with Serbia at the U17 World Championship. Kusturica was also named to the tournament’s All-Star Five.

Additionally, during this year, he won the ANGT EuroLeague with Barcelona, defeating Real Madrid in the final in Athens.
