Galatasaray and Johnathan Williams agreed to part ways after joining forces at the start of the 2020-21 season. The Turkish club announced a mutual agreement for early contract termination on Friday.

Williams, 25, in his Basketball Champions League debut run posted 6.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per match with Galatasaray eliminated at the end of the Regular Season. He also averaged 10.3 points per contest at the domestic level.

He is considering various options to bounce right back extending his 2020-21 campaign. The Chemnitz Niners, 7-11 in Germany’s easyCredit BBL, are currently his most possible destination.

Prior to moving to Turkey, the former Missouri and Gonzaga forward went through a stint with Maccabi Rishon LeZion. He has also made his way to 37 NBA games between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Washington Wizards.
