Filip Petrusev has best game with Efes in rout over Belediyesi

Filip Petrusev produced his best performance yet with the Anadolu Efes jersey by registering season-highs 28 points and nine rebounds to lead his team to a 90 – 68 win over Afyon Beledyesi for Round 26 of the Turkish League regular season.

Petrusev played 30 minutes with fellow big men Tibor Pleiss and Bryant Dunston out for resting reasons and made the most out of the time he got. He shot 12-20 on 2-pointers and made 4-4 of his free throws.

Egemen Guven added 14 points plus five rebounds, Bugrahan Tuncer posted 12 points and eight assists while James Anderson had 10 points plus five assists for Efes. Vasilije Micic (injury) is still out for the Turkish side while Shane Larkin and Krunoslav Simon were registered but spent the entirety of the match at the bench.

Jonathan Hamilton (17 points, 11 rebounds) and Kenny Hayes (17 points, six assists) stood out from Belediyesi. Marko Filipovity had 10 points and nine boards.

This win pushed Efes to 20 – 6, one win less than first-placed Fenerbahce. Belediyesi fell to 4 – 23 and remains on the last spot in the standings.
