Vasilije Micic helps Efes tie series against Galatasaray 1-1

Two days after suffering a blowout loss at home, Anadolu Efes bounced back to take down Galatasaray 91-77 in Game 2 of the BSL Semifinals to tie the series 1-1.

Vasilije Micic scored 19 points along with four rebounds and three assists to lead the way for Efes and Elijah Bryant followed with 16 points and six assists. Tibor Pleiss and Shane Larkin posted 15 and 13 points respectively and Bryant Dunston added 12 points for Ergin Ataman’s squad.

On the other end of the court, Isaiah Canaan had 14 points for Galatasaray, Kerry Blackshear added 13 points and 7 rebounds and Maurice N’Dour dropped 12 points.

Efes used an 8-point edge into the second quarter to take the lead of the game and never trailed since to recover from a disheartening defeat in Game 1, while Game 3 of the series is underway Tuesday, May 31 (20:30 local time).
