Tough win for Fenerbahce against Buyukcekmece

After getting a convincing win in the 2022-23 EuroLeague season opener against Bayern Munich, Fenerbahce continued its good period by beating Buyukcekmece 85-80 at the end of a difficult game.

Dimitris Itoudis’ team stayed ahead for the totality of the encounter, but the hosts managed to always remained very close. The new faces were essential, as Johnathan Motley and Scottie Wilbekin ended respectively with 16 and 18 points. Carsen Edwards added 14, while Marko Guduric put up 10 points and 8 assists.

The home side was carried by former PAOK Salonicco player Demetre Rivers (18 p., 6 r.) and by the 31-year-old European veteran Saulius Kulvietis, who closed with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
