Bahçeşehir’s plan to get Elie Okobo failed

Bahçeşehir College officials confirmed to Eurohoops that they contacted the player’s agent after Elie Okobo was suspended temporarily from Monaco, but received a negative reply to their offer from the Frenchman who wanted to continue in the team.

Thus, the case of the transfer of the 26-year-old player to the Turkish club was closed.

Of course, from the first moment, the possibility of the transfer being made was slim for Bahçeşehir College, which was pushing its luck after the EuroLeague transfer window closed, considering the market for Elie Okobo.

However, the club which hired former Panathinaikos and Crvena Zvezda coach Dejan Radonjic, is expected to target top-level players in the summer, having enough budget to go after them.
