Fenerbahce achieved another victory in the Semifinals of the Turkish championship, defeating Anadolu Efes at home with a score of 73-72.

Efes had a chance for a big win, as PJ Dozier had a relatively easy shot to win it, but he missed, allowing Fener to take a 2-0 lead in the series and move one win away from reaching the championship Finals.

Tarik Biberovic was the top scorer for the winning team with 20 points, Talen Horton-Tucker had 19, while Wade Baldwin added 14. On the other side, Jordan Loyd scored 19 points, with PJ Dozier and Sehmus Hazer each contributing 12.

As in the game two days ago, Efes was leading for most of the time, and this time they had a 15-point advantage at halftime (47-32).

However, Fenerbahce managed to come back into the game, which was ultimately decided in a dramatic finish. Baldwin lost the ball, but Horton-Tucker stopped Efes’ attempt at the hoop with a brilliant block. Nevertheless, the visitors grabbed the offensive rebound and had a chance to win.

Dozier played one-on-one, got to a great position in the paint, but missed, allowing Fenerbahce to grab the ball and secure the victory in the end.

The third game is scheduled for Friday, at 19:00 CEST.
