After the unexpected setback at home in the first game of the Turkish finals, Fenerbahçe rallied in front of their home crowd to dominate Besiktas (93-68) and level the series at 1-1.
Wade Baldwin (17 p.) and Horton-Tucker (16 p.) were the top scorers to lead the victory. Anthony Brown’s 17 points weren’t enough to secure another surprising victory. They’ll have the opportunity to take the lead again in the series at home.
Besiktas started well after their important Game 1 victory. Fenerbahçe fought back and dominated the second quarter to go into halftime with a comfortable lead (50-37). Jasikevicius was ejected after eight minutes for two technical fouls.
Despite poor three-point shooting (10/28), the situation was under control for the yellow and black team, who gave their fans a reason to celebrate with a good victory (93-68) to tie the series 1-1.
