Sloukas pushed Fenerbahce past Turk Telekom

Fenerbahce BEKO stopped Turk Telekom’s third-quarter comeback and won 75-59 on Day 3 of the Turkish League. Fener stayed perfect (3-0) while Turk Telekom now holds a 2-1 record.

Kostas Sloukas banked 18 points along with seven assists and five rebounds while Derrick Williams added 12 and Melih Mahmutoglu 11 points.

For Turk Telekom, Terrance Campbell Jr scored 16 in addition to Nicholas Johnson’s 11 and Ronald Hunter’s ten points.

Fenerbahce was ahead 21-14 after ten minutes and 39-29 at halftime. Although Turk Telekom opened the second half strong and cut the gap to just two points (45-43), Fener quickly answered and was up in double-digits at the end of the third quarter (56-45). They led by as much as 17 points (64-47) in the final period and sealed the win.
