Gustavo Ayon a guest in the latest edition of Tirando a Fallar of esRadio discussed him being ready for action and the latest developments at Real Madrid noting he would be open for a second stint with the Whites.

“I have gone through difficult injuries in the past and I send him my full support,” he said regarding Anthony Randolph suffering a season-ending injury, “He is very strong and will be back even better and with more enthusiasm.”

The Spanish club may opt to enter the market in search of another big to replace Randolph. The player potentially coming in would need to play in the ACB without taking a foreigner spot, criteria fitting Ayon.

“It would be a good development. It is a place I have always felt very comfortable,” he said welcoming a return to Madrid after his run stretching from 2014 to 2019, “The circumstances are troubling because of what happened but returning where I was very happy would be extremely pleasant. Of course, I would love to come back and have another chance.”

Ayon, 35, parted ways with Zenit Saint-Petersburg last July but is looking for a path back to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. He has been training aiming to be ready if an opportunity presents itself.
