EuroLeague Fantasy: Go with Kevin Punter and Jordan Mickey

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

Olimpia Milano is hosting Olympiacos Piraeus in a game where guard Kevin Punter will be facing his former team. We will be taking a bit of a risk in this case since, usually, the “ex” wants to prove some things. In the case of Punter it may not be exactly like that.

Punter is currently Milano’s leading scorer with 14.1 points and maybe he will exhibit that scoring ease against Olympiacos as well.

Sure, Punter doesn’t do many other things on the floor and this is why he costs just 1.15 credits. This is a low number considering how many points he averages but, as we said, he doesn’t do lot of other things on the court.

We like him for our team though since he plays a lot and scores a lot  so it’s a good opportunity to acquire him this week, betting on the extra motivation he may have against his former team.

Let’s take a look at big man Jordan Mickey. He costs 14.6 credits and comes off a great performance (30 PIR) against Panathinaikos. Khimki is pretty much out of the playoffs race and is facing Bayern Munich after the recent departures of forward Jonas Jerebko and center Greg Monroe.

In the loss to Panathinaikos, Khimki was also without guard Alexey Shved and center Devin Booker, something that helped Mickey go extra nuclear with his numbers. He has played a lot in the last six games of Khimki, especially after two core big men left, and we believe that he will also play a lot and perform well against Bayern to justify our trust.
