Kyle Kuzma visited the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Thursday night to attend Game 2 of the EuroLeague Playoffs between Olympiacos and AS Monaco Basket.
He joined a star-studded crowd that also included Giannis Antetokounmpo and Novak Djokovic, and left the arena visibly impressed by the atmosphere, as he told olympiacosbc.gr.
The 2020 NBA champion arrived shortly after tip-off, with cameras repeatedly catching him in awe—reacting both to Olympiacos’ performance on the court and the electric environment inside SEF, while also sharing a brief moment with Antetokounmpo during the game.
Kuzma was also seen recording moments on his phone, clearly enjoying the experience, later posting on Instagram that he would love to play in such an atmosphere one day.
“It’s my first time watching a EuroLeague game. The atmosphere here is incredible. Obviously, this is one of the best crowds in the EuroLeague. I’m a big fan of it”, Kuzma said.
Regarding whether he has friends at Olympiacos, Kuzma was clear.
“Monte Morris isn’t playing tonight, but I’ve known him since second grade, since I was eight years old! It’s pretty cool to be here.”
Kuzma also spoke about Olympiacos’ fans and their style of play, which he clearly enjoyed.
“I enjoyed it 100%! I just love the fans—they’re amazing, they got a rockstar team.”
