Fenerbahce beat Real Madrid rather easily in the EuroLeague semifinal and now aims to win the trophy on Sunday, in front of thousands fans that will dominate the seats in “Sinan Erdem” arena.

For Bogdan Bogdanovic… the Final Four is like it’s already starting.

“It’s an unbelievable success that we are once again in the EuroLeague Final. But hey… we didn’t came here just to play a Final you know”

Fenerbahce controlled most aspects of the game against Real Madrid and often looked quite dominant on the floor. “We were great defense and we played how we wanted . That’s what gave us extra confidence on offense. They had many turnovers. More than their assists and that was big.”

On Sunday, Fenerbahce will face Olympiacos for EuroLeague crown. Bogdanovic watched how his opponents from the title and how Vassilis Spanoulis once again errupted in the fourth quarter.

“Vassilis Spanoulis is the greatest player in the history of EuroLeague. He has done many times in the past what he did today. He lives for these moments. And Olympiacos in general is a very tough opponent.”

Did the Serbian player have a preferance between CSKA and Olympiacos for the final? “Well, we didn’t really think about the Final. Until now. We will start making our plans now.”

One of the players Bogdan Bogdanovic fought against in the semifinal was Luka Doncic, the 2017 EuroLeague Rising Star.

The 18-year-old player struggled and his inexperienced showed. He finished the match scoreless after 0/6 from the field.

Bogdanovic, who has expressed his admiration many times for the Slovenian wunderkid of Real Madrid had a certain message for young Luka.

“I played very bad in my first Final Four. I’d tell him not to worry.  He’s a very good player and also an unbelievable talent and character. He’s young and he wil hard. So he’ll play in many Final Fours”
