Diop out for six to eight weeks

Diop suffered a fracture of the proximal phalanx of the fifth finger of his left hand against Real Madrid on Tuesday and medical tests performed on Wednesday have determined that this injury will keep him out of action for up to two months.

The immediate treatment followed for the player calls for total immobilization of the finger during the first two weeks and the estimated period between six and eight weeks will remain tentative, based on how fast his finger recovers.
